Boost and measure interactivity across more streaming TV video ad supply

What launched?
We are expanding interactive video ads (beta) to show up in more places than ever before. Now, with just the click of a remote or mouse click/tap or scan of a QR code, customers can easily take action and engage with your brand across Amazon Freevee, Fire TV Channels, Twitch, and third-party streaming TV apps like A&E, Lifetime, and Crackle.
This launch also includes insights on ad interactions such as clicks on ads and email opens as well as click based attribution across conversion events such as add to cart and purchases. Advertisers can access new interactive metrics from Amazon DSP Campaign manager, DSP Reports and DSP API reports.
New Interactive Metrics in Amazon DSP Report Center
In Amazon DSP reports, advertiser can create new report or edit existing report, under ‘Configuration’ select ‘Video’ category and select the new interactivity metrics from Campaign, Inventory, Geography, Audience, and Technology reports.
In Amazon DSP campaign manager, advertiser can click on ‘Customize columns’, select ‘Video’ category and select the new interactivity metrics in Advertisers, Orders, Line Items, Creatives, and Performance Report page levels.
Why is it important?
This launch unlocks interactivity across expanded supply, which can help boost performance for your ads. Additionally, you get measurement in DSP campaign manager and report center.
We have streamlined the metrics for interactivity under the ‘Video’ category. Three metrics - Interactive Impressions, Notification Opens, and Notification Clicks will be available under the ‘Video’ category in Campaign, Inventory, Geography, Audience, and Technology dimension drop downs.
We have also added these three metrics in the ‘Video’ category in ‘customize columns’ in to Advertisers, Orders, Line Items, Creatives, and Performance Report page levels. While these metrics will not be default metrics, they can be selected from ‘customize columns’.
