Launch announcement

Improve pacing with updated recommendations and alerts

June 6, 2024

What launched?

We’ve expanded our alerts and recommendations to new placements across Amazon DSP to help advertisers diagnose and resolve campaign issues independently, wherever they work on their DSP campaigns. Our alerts and recommendations are now available across the campaign overview page and the order line item page. Advertisers can streamline their optimization workflows to identify underpacing orders or orders with rejected creatives, and can then optimize them with a single click.

Our pacing alerts will analyze campaign data in real-time and alert advertisers about orders that are on track to underdeliver their budgets, surfacing recommendations on how advertisers can take action to resolve issues. Advertisers will have more opportunities to optimize their orders earlier and get pacing on track faster, unlocking more opportunities to achieve their goals on Amazon DSP.

Clicking the ⚠️ icon will open an in-context menu of recommendations to help improve your campaign’s outcomes.

order underpacing

Cards are now visible on the Order - line item page when you have a relevant pacing or creative alert

Advertisers will now see a new “Recommendations card” placement underneath the dashboard and above the table on the order line item page. This card will appear when an order has relevant alerts or recommendations to help improve pacing or performance. By clicking "View recommendations," advertisers can easily see all relevant recommendations for a campaign and action them with a single click from within the campaign management interface.

Why is it important?

Our new recommendations placements and updated pacing alert make it even easier for advertisers to remain informed about their campaigns, taking action quickly to ensure their campaigns deliver budgets in full. Recommendations are prioritized based on impact, ensuring you focus on the most significant optimizations.
