Launch announcement
Discover, manage, and analyze deals in Amazon DSP with inventory hub
March 26, 2024
What launched?
Inventory hub is a centralized destination available in Amazon DSP built to improve the entire lifecycle of deals - from discovery and activation, to ongoing campaign management and reporting. Inventory hub is designed to support self-service programmatic traders and supply managers to better discover, manage, and analyze the performance of deals across exclusive Amazon owned and operated inventory, Amazon Publisher Direct, and third-party exchanges. Comprised of 3 easy-to-use tabs, Discovery, Inventory groups, and Insights, inventory hub’s main objective is to simplify the management of deals in a central location.
Inventory hub in Amazon DSP
Why is it important?
Inventory hub makes it easier for customers to find and activate against relevant inventory opportunities across various supply sources. The Discovery tab allows for easy filtering to find the most relevant off-the-shelf or custom deals based on your campaign criteria. Inclusive of a wide variety of filters, the most relevant deals will automatically appear in real-time that meet the criteria selected. As you apply filters, the “affinity ranking” API auto-sorts the deals result from highest to lowest affinity, based on propensity of a deal to deliver reach against filter criteria.
Inventory groups are groupings of deals that can be used across multiple line items, and can help drive efficiency when activating deals as customers no longer need to select deals individually. With a click of a button, users can name the inventory group according to their internal naming convention, and select the media type of the inventory group.
Finally, the Insights tab aggregates historical performance and delivery metrics across your entity at a deal, supply source, and domain level. Users can search and filter the data table similar to other inventory reports available within the Amazon DSP UI. Users can also use the Insights page to ensure deals that have been created are receiving bid requests, and are ready to activate.
