What launched?
Alexa is the first device ad placement to integrate with a standard template used by desktop and mobile advertisers. Their ads will seamlessly extend to the Alexa Home Screen display ad on eligible Echo Show devices, requiring no modification during campaign creation. This allows advertisers to connect with several relevant customers within their connected homes, driving brand awareness as well as performance objectives. Why is it important?
Buyers can use this standard display creative and be served on the Alexa Home Screen (AHS). Alexa is an Amazon inventory type that will be enabled on Display Media Type Line items. This gives buyers a frictionless experience of serving a REC ad to an additional Amazon supply.
