Waiver Announcement

We grant the following unconditional and irrevocable waiver to advertisers serving ads in the EU with whom we have entered into our standard unilateral non-disclosure agreement (“Agreement”). The following waiver amends and supersedes any conflicting provision included in the Agreement:

“Notwithstanding any obligation of confidentiality, Amazon recognizes that you have the right to use an Agreement in the event of legal proceedings to defend your rights under an Agreement. You may disclose this Agreement to your accountants and legal advisers as well as to any relevant public authority as required by law and to the extent necessary for that purpose. You do not need to give prior notice or obtain approval from Amazon to exercise this right.”

The waiver is granted to clarify that advertisers serving ads in the EU are permitted to raise any issue of non-compliance with relevant public authorities, in compliance with applicable law.
