Fire TV is now available as a new supply source for Amazon DSP self-service advertisers

What launched?
Fire TV Feature Rotator slots 2+ in US, CA, EU5, JP, IN, AU, BR, MX and NL is generally available to all ADSP Self-Service advertisers. As the most prominent placement on the Fire TV home screen, Feature Rotator engages viewers the moment they turn on Fire TV, extending reach to those who primarily consume streaming content. After a brief pause, Feature Rotator automatically expands to full-screen video (5-18s) with sound. It then auto-rotates through a carousel of video content across subsequent slots. Advertisers have the opportunity to set up Entertainment or digital ASIN, Prime Video Channel benefit ID, video, physical ASIN (only available in US, UK and DE) click-through destinations. It provides an opportunity for advertisers to drive incremental reach, brand awareness and consideration.

Why is it important?
Offering Fire TV ad placements in a self-service capacity provides Amazon DSP advertisers looking to utilize self-service buying models and removes minimum spend barriers in place for Amazon DSP managed-service customers. This launch offers Amazon DSP self-service advertisers flexibility to launch campaigns quickly with lower SLAs than managed service and to optimize in real time.
Fire TV provides an opportunity for Amazon DSP self-service advertisers to drive incremental reach, brand awareness and consideration. On average, Fire TV ad campaigns observed a 2X+ incremental reach with only a 3% overlap in audience when added to Prime Video ad campaigns (Jan-Mar 2024 US data).
