Introducing a “code-free” way to create high-value audiences in Amazon Marketing Cloud

What’s launched?

Advertisers can now easily find high-value segment groups, visualise the groups’ impact and turn the groups into a reachable audience list using the Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) high-value audiences solution (beta). This release is the first from the AMC solutions portfolio, a set of experiences designed for business users, such as campaign managers, media traders and brand managers, to easily generate insights based on AMC signals and to quickly act on those insights, without writing any code.

With this solution, you can evaluate the value of your customer groups based on their past spend and specify parameters such as timeframe, ASIN and new-to-brand status to fine-tune the assessment. The results of the high-value audience analysis show up in almost-real time in interactive graphs and tables, and update dynamically as you adjust the parameters. You can select the group you deem to be of high-value, and to create a lookalike audience or a rule-based audience within the same interface. Audiences created via the solution will be automatically routed to your Amazon DSP accounts, ready to be used in your future campaigns.

AMC high-value audiences solution (and other AMC solutions to come) allows advertising users across functions and technical backgrounds to quickly generate insights using AMC signals, easily visualise learning and effortlessly initiate actions accordingly.

  • “No-code” experience: You do not need SQL knowledge or analytic skills to use the solution. With its point-and-click user interface and auto-generated metric visualisation, business users such as media planners and traders can easily leverage the solution in their daily execution.
  • Integrated workflow: The solution brings clean room analytics, insight visualisation and insight actioning in one connected workflow. You can complete the end-to-end execution within one interface, reducing operational efforts and shortening time to value.
  • Quick execution: While there are infinite ways to assess and act on signals and insights in AMC, the solution prioritises a number of most popular and effective use cases. This helps to simplify your decision-making process and facilitate quick deployment of commonly applicable best practices.
  • Controlled flexibility: For each prioritised use case, you have the option to customise parameters such as date range, new-to-brand status, ASIN and campaign. This allows you to enjoy the simplicity of use cases while still maintaining control over the intended execution.
