My Lady Jane, I Am: Celine Dion, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, The Boys, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power are just a few of the highly anticipated Original shows and movies coming soon to Prime Video.

At the inaugural Amazon Upfront in May, Reese Witherspoon, Will Ferrell, Jake Gyllenhaal, Roger Federer, Octavia Spencer, Hannah Waddingham, Alan Ritchson, Aldis Hodge, Patton Oswalt, Jenny Han, and more A-list stars helped give a sneak peek at the upcoming programming from Amazon MGM Studios. At the event, Amazon highlighted the scale of its premium content offerings anchored by Prime Video, which has an average monthly ad-supported reach of 200 million global customers, 115 million of whom are in the U.S. 1 This year marks the first in which brands can reach millions of Prime Video viewers with Streaming TV ads. Ads in Prime Video content have been introduced in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Austria, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, and Mexico, and will expand to Australia later in the year.

“Welcome to the next hundred years of Amazon MGM Studios,” Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, said at the Upfront. “Only Amazon has the ability to dive into IP and spark new obsessions across books, podcasts, music, fashion, and games. No other studio offers creators so many ways to engage with an audience. And this has made Amazon MGM Studios the home for talent.”

Cross (Season 1): Fall 2024

Alex Cross is a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify—and ultimately capture—the murderers. Aldis Hodge stars as the titular character and also serves as a producer on the series. Cross also stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold.

Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? (Season 1): 2024

Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce will host this 20-episode spinoff of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, with a new twist on the premise of the original popular format. Each game will welcome an adult contestant who will rely on a classroom full of celebrities from stage, screen, and sports to help them answer 11 questions on a range of subjects, pulled from elementary curriculum, in an effort to win a $100,000 prize. They are not competing against the stars…they’re enlisting their help and, in some cases, can even “cheat” off of them. And on the final question, worth $100,000, the contestant selects one celebrity to discuss the answer with before locking in. The final question is always at the 6th-grade level.

Citadel: Diana (Season 1): 2024

The series comes from Cattleya (ZeroZeroZero)—part of ITV Studios—and showrunner and executive producer Gina Gardini, with Riccardo Tozzi, Marco Chimenz, and Giovanni Stabilini also serving as executive producers and Emanuele Savoini as co-executive producer. AGBO’s Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Ostot, Scott Nemes, and David Weil (Hunters) executive produce on Citadel: Diana and all series within the global Citadel universe.
